Ian Doddridge Electrical & Audio Limited or ‘idea’ was established in Liverpool in 2002 concentrating on 3 core sectors:

- Electronic Security
- Professional Audio & Effects Lighting
- Audio / Visual Systems

During the past 3 years idea’s scope of work has increased to include Domestic Electrical Work, Telephone Systems and Home Audio and Entertainment Systems and soon to follow are Portable Appliance Testing and Fire Alarms.

Whilst idea is constantly growing, excellence remains at the centre of the company. idea are now members of the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) and are currently applying for membership of the SSAIB (Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board).
